When connected to UCSD-Protected Wireless or VPN in a non-compliant state, your access will resemble the experience of a standard home network.

Permitted Access:

• Browse websites both UCSD and Public.
• Access Library Resources (coming soon via OpenAthens: Learn More).
• Connect to Canvas for teaching and coursework.
• Perform purchasing, timekeeping, and other business activities: UCPath, Kuali,OFC
• Check email through Outlook or Gmail.
• Utilize Zoom, MS Teams, Google Drive, OneDrive, Calendar, and collaboration apps.

Restricted Access::

• Printing to wired or UCSD Wi-Fi connected printers.
• Connecting to UCSD wired Ethernet systems (SSH, RDP, SMB).
• Accessing Lab resources or any restricted campus networks.
